Our TSS family of friends is missing Ed Peters. and our condolences and sympathy go out to his family: Mary Ann, Scott and Renee. Ed was a fierce competitor in his Abbott 33, Tigress, and donated a lot of time and capital to our club. Services will be at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Ruskin on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Visitation will be at 11:00, Mass at noon and a reception will follow. All are invited.
APOLLO BEACH LIGHTED BOAT PARADE
DECEMBER 12th, 2020
The public is invited to participate in the annual Apollo Beach Lighted Boat Parade, sponsored by Tampa Sailing Squadron on Dec.12th, 2020..
All boaters are invited to participate (any size boat, power or sail). The Boat Parade will be judged and multiple awards will be presented in all classes of entry. There will be a required Captain’s Meeting, via Zoom, on Saturday, December 12th at 10 a.m. Every boat participating will receive a commemorative 2020 Apollo Beach Lighted Boat Parade Gift. There will be a few changes this year, because of....( well, you know.)
We won't be gathering for caroling or the chili cookoff at the TSS clubhouse, and the club grounds (outside) will be open for members only (who must wear masks and social distance).

All Individuals on TSS property must maintain social distance (at least 6' away from others).
To help stop the spread of the virus, please limit any use of the clubhouse to essential activities, at your own risk, and take every precaution in hand washing, sanitizing all surfaces used, wearing masks, etc.
Remember: You may spread the virus long before you have symptoms.
Health & safety are our #1 priority. If you use your boat, or participate in some activity at TSS, be sure to follow current government policies and act with a deep respect for the health and safety of others. Anyone at high risk from Covid-19, or exhibiting any symptoms, should avoid using TSS facilities.
