Notice of Series and Sailing Instructions

Portsmouth racing is a handicap system that allows small sailboats (19’ and under) to compete against each other in a race. If you have a small sailboat, you can find your handicap at https://www.ussailing.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/2017-Portsmouth-Precalculated-Classes.pdf. Portsmouth races are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and each series consists of 8 events. The "Dog Days of Summer" series runs from June through September. The "Salty Dog" series is from October through January. The "Three Sheets to the Wind" series runs from February to May.
