About this event
The parade will begin at dusk near marker 12 in the south basin of Apollo Beach. Any size boat, power or sail, is invited to join in the event.
The Boat Parade will be judged and multiple awards will be presented in all classes of entry. This year, 1st place in each category will receive a dinner cruise for two, courtesy of the Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises. There will be a required Captain’s Meeting on Saturday, December 10th at 9 a.m. at the TSS club house. Every boat participating will receive a commemorative 2022 Apollo Beach Lighted Boat Parade Gift.
There will be an award ceremony and a chili cook-off following the parade at the TSS club house.
The Sun City Center Men's Choir Ensemble will sing at 5:30pm at the TSS pavilion, and is open to the public. Burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and sides will be available at TSS beginning at 5pm.
