Events - Event View

This is an easy cruise to a protected anchorage. Plan to leave the club by 11:30 am. Spend
some time sailing and arrive at the anchorage in time to secure your vessel.
We shall raft-up again as we did last year. The Island can have a cloud of mosquitos.
Len Berkstresser and “Wildfire” will be our Anchor boat. After he is secure, the two cats
will tie up on either side. After that we shall raft up one at a time. If we have more boats
registered this time, we may do a second raft-up. If you want to break up and spend the night
on your own anchor, be sure to tie up at the end of a line.
Bring your own dinner entrée and plan to cook aboard your boat. We shall all bring a
bit extra sides, and deserts to share. Happy hour and shared hors d'oeuvre about 4 pm.
Dinner when it seems right. Plan to wander between boats. Feel free to dinghy into the
island for a bit of exploring and mosquito research.
The plan is to enjoy the area and company. Sleep aboard your vessel when you are
ready. Fix breakfast in the morning and sail back at your leisure.
