Tampa Sailing Squadron is a private, member-owned sailing club located in Apollo Beach, Florida. Members enjoy many activities such as club racing, regattas, cruising and many other social events.
The Club House will be having a new roof installed between April 18th and April 26th. Since this is a weather-dependent activity, these dates are subject to change. The Building Committee will notify membership of any change in dates.
Be aware that parking and driving on the north side of the Club House area will be restricted during the construction period. Drive and park in this area at your own risk.
Access the Club House via the porch. Be aware that this will also be an active construction area.
The construction process will require the removal of the existing shingle coverage, the wind mitigation requirements to bring the roof into Florida Building Code compliance, and the installation of the new roof underlayment and Shingles. Steps will be taken to close off the area of work during construction. Once the roof is completed the contractor will take steps to remove any wayward nails in the areas that are roped off, including where their temporary dumpster is located.
