Get ready to trim your sails and raise your glass — the Margarita Madness Ladies Regatta is back at Tampa Sailing Squadron, and the competition has never been saltier –
or more refreshing. This premier all-women’s regatta brings together the best female sailors on Tampa Bay for a day of fierce racing, sun-soaked camaraderie, and perfectly blended
margaritas.
Set against the sparkling waters of Tampa Bay on Saturday, April 18, competitors will battle for coveted top honors before the post-race fiesta
transforms the docks into the best party in the squadron. Whether you’re a seasoned offshore veteran or a passionate club racer, this is your
regatta.

A day on the water means a day in the sun. Sailors know better than anyone that UV exposure on open water is intense – reflected off
the surface and beaming from above. As part of our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our community, Tampa Sailing Squadron is proud
to support skin cancer awareness.
Your registration makes a difference! Net proceeds from this event will go to The Skin Cancer Foundation
– a world leader in skin cancer education, prevention, and early detection. Every donation helps protect sailors, athletes, and outdoor lovers
everywhere.
Remember: Slather on that SPF 30, throw on a rash guard, and keep those shades on — then go win your race.
Schedule
Friday, April 17
- 1800 Check in and social hour with complimentary beer & soft drinks.
- 1930 Competitors Meeting in the TSS Club House.
Saturday, April 18
- 07300–0830 Late check-in, breakfast for skippers & crew
- 1000 Mother-Lode class pursuit start begins; one fixed mark race planned.
- 1030 First warning signal for Cruiser, followed by Racer-Cruiser and Spinnaker classes.
- 1100 First warning signal for Portsmouth; multiple drop-mark W/L races planned
- 1730 Margarita Madness cocktail dinner party. Food, drinks, and music.
- 1930 Awards presentation.
