Forwarded Message from RFC Ed Plotts: 8/17/2011

Another great evening of fun company and fun racing. Weather could not have been better. Starting at 86 at porch time and going down to about 82 and another beautiful Sunset buy "pizza Time". No bugs.
7 Boats signed up. More then the club races. WOW.
Greg Johnson had a motor problem and couldn't get to the start line, but he did make the pizza line. Go Bo...
A down wind start, it was twice around the tower. John Martini had the best position at the start, but Delirium (5 young ladies) showed her colors first, (spin) and led the way to the first three marks. The final upwind leg toke the toll on the two lead boats and Slippery managed to squeak in for a win. Painted Lady, Pat Claytor did a great job for a fourth place. Panacea and Triumph enjoyed the best part of the setting Sun.
A special thanks to a great volunteer committee boat and crew.
Frank Ciufia, Giles Hertz and Dave Webb
Results: 3 miles.
